Thick Stock Booklets

Give Your Booklets a Premium Feel

Thick stock booklets are exactly how the name sounds - they're printed on a cover paper stock, which is a thicker paper that gives your booklets a deluxe feel. Thick stock booklets are perfect for programs, small catalogs, and informational handouts.

You choose an 8 page, 12 page, or 16 page booklet and whether you would like 80# gloss cover or 80# matte cover. Due to the thickness of the paper stock, 16 pages is the maximum page count available for binding.

Thick stock booklets FAQ

Are these bound via saddle stitching?
Yes, our thick stock booklets are bound via saddle stitching, which is a binding method that involves inserting staples into the spine of the booklet and is great for booklets with lesser page counts.

How are these different than your standard saddle stitch booklets?
Unlike our standard saddle stitch booklets that are printed on text weight paper with an optional thicker cover, our thick stock booklets are printed exclusively on cover stock paper - both on your inside and outside pages. Utilizing a cover stock on all pages gives your booklets a professional, deluxe appearance and will help you make a great impression among clients and customers.

How many pages can you saddle stitch with cover stock paper?
Due to the thickness of the paper, the maximum page count we can saddle stitch with 80# cover is 16 pages.

Are your booklets printed in full color?
Yes! We are proud to offer full color booklets, so feel free to add as many colors as you would like without affecting the cost. If you need a black ink only publication, please request a custom quote.

Do you offer custom sized thick stock booklets?
Yes, we do. If you're looking for a different size than what you see on our pricing calculator, please request a custom quote.

Proofing: After you place your order and upload your artwork, our prepress team will begin inspecting your files to ensure your document size, bleed lines, margins, image resolution, and more are correct in order for the best print quality. They will email you a soft proof (PDF) for your approval prior to printing. Most proofs are sent within 1 business day of order placement; more complex art files can sometimes take longer. Soft proofing is an easy way to see what your finished product will look like and make sure the content is correct. However, soft proofing is not intended for exact color matching. Every monitor displays color differently, and on backlit screens, colors may appear lighter than the actual colors contained in your files. If color matching is critical, please give us a call at 800-227-7377 to order a hard proof.

Production Time: Production time begins after proof approval and is the time required to produce your order before it ships. It is calculated in business days, starting at the next occurrence of 9:00 AM Eastern on the 1st business day after the proof is approved. U.S. Press is closed Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays; thus, these days are not included in the production schedule.
